Order in the next 0: I bought this one because of missing printer port config on XP. Today I am running 64bit Cubase 5. It's USB and I use for my desktop and laptop. Cubase from SL2 to Cubase 6 Trial in 64bit, it works fine.
I finally downloaded the driver zip file from the Midiman site to a floppy, then read the installation instructions. It is easy to carry and it works with everything.

For some reason, Midiman products and Windows XP don't seem to agree. This is my oldest piece of equipment in the studio; it is indestructible. Do you ever happen to saturate the MIDI interface and if so, under what circumstances? I hooked up quater inch leads to the alesis q8 sterio outs to the mbox and then mwc the midisport uno from the alesis midi port to the usb port. Are they often put day? I used it m-auio for 7 years and more episodically sincewhen it serves me in concert.

We use this in conjunction with Apple's GarageBand and works like a charm-- it's basically plug-n-play. Saturation, for my part, never took place.
