A friend of mine has the same problem. This isn't solved by getting two cards and crossfiring because only a single card carries the audio and cloning of any sort, doesn't even work with the current drivers in crossfire. Frustratingly there is no telling which display will get the sound each time you start up the computer. Now, AMD has a poor reputation in the gaming community due to their track record of sub-par driver releases, and right out of the gate I can concur trying to get my new card up and running has been a frustrating experience.
LinkDriveJan 25, Go to original post. The card has two DVI connectors that can both pass sound, however only one at a time can do this because the card has only a single audio chipset. I can't but help think that the solution is very simple and i am not seeing it.

You don't have JavaScript enabled. I saw no ud4870 from the AMD driver over the microsoft one.
